Hello everyone!
It's me again. And I'm actually trying to post more as you can see!
My previous post was just a dull post without any pics. Now I'm writing this with computer, so I might upload some photos from my Instagram account.
I'm going to move to the US in 5 days (counting from tomorrow). Seriously, less than a week and I'm living in America? That sounds too crazy to be true! But it's happening and I may realize it not until at the airport haha. Now when everything's ready, I just can't sit still and wait. So I'm googling every single detail about my university, studying, university life, residence life, dorm room decorations, living in South Dakota etc... Every detail makes me more excited though I'm also sad because I have to leave my family and all my friends here. But well, we change and our lives change, that's how the things go. It's just a little scary to leave all familiar and safe behind and move alone to the completely different world.
When we celebrated my university career with my family, my mom made this wonderful cake. It's was so delicious! On Sunday, I had my farewell party with my friends and we had great time together. (I made also a cake but let's not talk about that one. This glamorous cake would hide it.) Feeling a bit blue right now when thinking about my friends and all the things we've done together. But it's time to face the truth that many of us go studying to the different cities, so still if I stayed in Finland, we wouldn't see each other so often. And I'm sure I will get also lots of new friends. But still, I will always love my lovely, dear Finnish friends and I promise not to forget them.
Well, I think that was all this time. I'll do a big post before next Monday and maybe something smaller before that. Have a great summer and see you later! :)
xoxo, Iiris
